Thai Festival

Thai Festival

When

Sunday 25th July 2010

Where

Battersea Park

On July 25th London’s Battersea Park will once again resemble the streets of Bangkok as the UK’s Thai restaurateurs gather to celebrate the Annual Festival of Thai Food and Culture.

The festival
Taking place in the midst of summer, the festival will have all the sounds and flavours of Thailand past and present. The festival promises to be a food-lovers paradise and will be a unique chance to sample authentic Thai street food from dozens of stalls whilst also being able to buy those often hard-to-find ingredients for your kitchen.

Refreshments
Food isn’t the only thing on the menu though with a number of stalls and sponsors providing Thai themed refreshment. Families can also browse the arts and crafts stalls and go shopping for authentic items all the way from Thailand.

The entertainment
Away from the food and drink aspect of the festival, families will be entertained by a series of demonstrations, events and displays – from Thai Boxing to traditional dance. You can also look forward to live music on the stage.

The Thai Festival at Battersea Park runs from 11am - 8pm, Sunday 25th July 2010. Admission is £4.00, and children under 1.2m go free.
