Thats Entertainment at Harrods

Thats Entertainment at Harrods takes over the store until the end of October as a whole host of fantastic events and activities transform the store into a huge theatre show. With seven floors crammed with sensational events, Thats Entertainment is giving you the chance to go shopping with theatrical style and show stopping results.

Creating a retail theatre that provides a shopping experience more akin to Hollywood and the circus than your average department store. Events and performance are set to take over each floor, bringing you the glitz, glamour and drama of a West End show. From arts, drama, film, music and theatre to doggy fashion, shoe Oscars and book signings, Thats Entertainment covers a wealth of stunning events.

Recreating the sights and sounds of Hollywood, Broadway, the Royal Opera House and the London Coliseum, all kinds of West End events are waiting in store for the theatre loving shopper. A special stage has been erected in the Georgian Restaurant and here you can see all kinds of dance, theatre, fashion and musical events for free.

20 minute hightlights of top West End shows are taking place in the Georgian Restaurant, with the stars of Carmina Burana, Chicago, Mamma Mia!, Never Forget and Avenue Q giving it their all on the mini stage. And for the kids, Thats Entertainment at Harrods is giving them the chance to perform in their own show with a High School Musical workshop for both 8 to 12 year olds and 13 to 16 year olds.

Are you ready for your close up? Have your picture taken Hollywood style with the aid of Seamus Ryan, portrait and advertising photographer. Before you visit Seamus, take a trip to see Harper's Bazaar Beauty Editor for a show stopping glamour talk on how to make the most of those cheekbones. And if you feel like striking a pose for your pic, a Champagne afternoon tea dance gives you the chance to practise your dance steps and get tips from Strictly Come Dancing pros, Camilla Dallerup, Erin Boag, Darren Bennett and Lilia Kopylova, plus, head judge Len Goodman.

More stars will be making their appearance on the Thats Entertainment red carpet throughout the events as Geri Halliwell, Michael Parkinson, Elaine Page and Tony Curtis will all be popping in to sign their latest books. And you can also see exhibitions from the celebrity world at Harrods too, with the displays of Bob Dylan's paintings, Charlie Chaplin's cane and hat and Marilyn Monroe's dress from Some Like It Hot.

All this along with the chance to take advice from a director, record yourself reading a script, get advice on fitness and training for all those nude scenes, and take part in a competition that could see you centre stage in the Monty Python musical Spamalot, makes Thats Entertainment at Harrods possibly the most entertaining place in London this autumn.
