The Big Roast

Enjoy a Sunday roast of gargantuan proportions at The Big Roast, part of the London Restaurant Festival programme. Taking place at Leadenhall Market, the event is a must for red blooded carnivores who want to sample food from some of the best chefs London has to offer.

Foodie event at Leadenhall Market
Part of the annual Game Fair at Leadenhall Market and tying in with the special events at the London Restaurant Festival, The Big Roast features five different roast meats served by five of London's top chefs. Hundreds of people are expected to sit down at the long trestle tables at Leadenhall Market and sample the mouth watering, succulent meat on offer.

Top chefs
The chefs cooking meals at The Big Roast include Mark Hix, Richard Corrigan, Fergus Henderson, Tim Hughes, Anna Hansen, Rowley Leigh, and John Torode. At the same time as the outdoors event at the market, many restaurants taking part in the London Restaurant Festival are also holding their own in-house roast menus.

Bring Your Own
The Big Roast is a Bring Your Own event, meaning that you can select your favourite wine or other drink before the event, and wash down all the delicious roast meat with the tipple of your choice. Alternatively, you can always enjoy an after dinner drink in one of the popular City pubs and bars near Leadenhall Market.
