A modern pub that offers a welcoming feel to it which belies its age and design. Young's ales are always a pleasure, the outside seating area both at ground level and on the terrace are pleasant and the bar staff are cheery and considerate. Prime example on Saturday when we sat at table which had cutlery on it, the waitress came over and instead of saying "it's reserved for dinners" (the default position in so many places even when there's plainly no one eating) simply removed the cutlery and offered us table-service for our drinks. Excellent.

A great pub that has amazing views over the river and is always buzzing, especially on weekends and after work. Also, I was really impressed with the food. We had a great lunch in the sun on the first floor terrace. It is much more than your typical gastro pub and I would highly recommend it for Sunday lunches, birthdays or just for a nice post work meal out. Definitely one to make the trip down to Putney for

The Boathouse is a perfect place to go, should you find yourself looking for a riverside establishment on a sunny day in London.
