Fairly good, not exceptional. Trading on its name as being the pub of the famous in Notting Hill. High prices for the quality but would still go again if in the area, and enjoyed one drink or 2 too many...

Wow, my Sunday lunch at The Cow last week was out of this world. I'd actually go so far as to say it was better than my Nan's and she's Delia Smith! Visit The Cow and eat.

I went to The Cow Dining Room for a Christmas lunch for six, an annual get together. It was a great opportunity to spend time with friends and enjoy great food. Did I say great? The food was shocking - bland and dire. Ranging from the goose to the veal. Awful.

The atmosphere at The Cow Dining Room was lacking, absolutely silent. And the best bit? Yes the bill was expensive - £27.00 for a 3 course menu. Crap, crap, crap - don't go!

Are you not the same person who has been giving poor reviews to a number of other pubs, though with a different user name? Perchance, are you a less than honest pub owner yourself with an axe to grind? Methinks yes...

I would drink at Cow until the Cow's come home!! What a cool bar with equally cool people. Seriously if you're at the Cow keep your eyes open because you're bound to see some one famous.

I thought The Cow Dining Room was lovely in every respect. The non smoking, quaint dining room upstairs is wonderful. We had a great starter, main course, and a delicate pudding. Have been to The Cow Dining Room once, will go again.

Went to The Cow with high hopes. The owner must either have friends in the food review sections of most magazines or have blackmailed them.

Amongst the worst meals I've had in London in the past 3 years.

Cramped, smokey, noisey and not cheap either- for what it is. The food is simple...I never thought I would say this, but maybe a bit too simple. 4 of us went there and we were all of a similar opinion. For the budget the Cow charges there are far better offers...

The cook had 4 hobs to work on next to the bar and he didn't even have a cover for his pots (used a plate). Would be quite a "charming" homely thing that would have complemented the atmosphere if it wasn't for the taste of the food and the atmosphere... oh well.

On the flip side... if you are really drunk and want another drink and just want some bar food or a snack then this might be what you are looking for. Do not go with hopes of a decent sit down meal.

Not impressed with the Cow Dining Room at all. It's not that easily accessible, the seating (upstairs - didn't go downstairs) is cramped, and I've seen cleaner places too.

To be fair the service and the range of food on offer was good, and I enjoyed my starter (ham and lentil soup). Don't have the lamb as a main course though unless you like ninety percent fat. I was still hungry when I left - largely because I was too disillusioned to pay another five pounds for dessert. Wouldn't go again.
