Fancy being entertained? Well, The Crack is on hand to do just that as a host of fascinating cabaret acts descend on the Southbank Centre for five nights of riotous revelry, hosted by that mischievous mistress of ceremonies, Miss Behave. Boasting a really rather fabulous line up of variety virtuosi, The Crack promises to be one of the highlights of Channel 4’s Udderbelly season, where a very select selection of comedy, music, magic and more takes over the Southbank Centre for eight joyous weeks.

Comedy cabaret
Brought to you by some of those lovely people behind the award-winning cabaret show La Clique, The Crack brings an every bit as impressive cast of stage talent to entertain and enthral. Whether you're after the sublime, the ridiculous, or anything in between, this show has it in abundance, so settle down, make yourself at home and get ready to giggle to some very fine comedy cabaret indeed.

Comedy stars
On The Crack’s suitably cracking line up are the likes of Andrew Lawrence, on hand to shock you into veritable fits of laughter with his cynical wisdom and wit; Phil Kay, who’ll be regaling cackling audiences with his acerbic Scottish philosophy; and the original heart-throb, musical master and expert in comic timing, Earl Okin. And you can’t ask for much more than that.

Variety hall performances
But you’ll get it anyway. Also on what’s an already pretty darn stellar line up are award-winning ventriloquist of the moment, Nina Conti and her furry friend, Monk; bad-boy speed painter, Jon Hicks; hula-hoop sensation Kalki Hula Girl; Dutch comedy legend, Mr Jones; 6ft 5 ballet dancer Dr Dave Stewart; and Woody Bop Muddy and his Record Graveyard, inviting you to destroy modern music. If you want to, that is. And all of this madness will be held together impeccably by the sassy, stunning and downright saucy Miss Behave – so make sure you don't.

The Crack takes place at the Southbank Centre at 9pm from Tuesday 16th June – Sunday 21st June 2009. For more information and to purchase tickets please follow the link below.
