Hosted by designer Tom Dixon, The Dock Christmas market brings food, design and merriment to Portobello Dock.
Festive bonanza
Taking place over four days, The Dock Christmas market brings fresh design and festive food to the Portobello Dock terrace, as well as the Dock Kitchen and the Tom Dixon Shop. Shop for the ideal Christmas present at stalls manned by the likes of Phaidon Books, Les Ateliers Ruby, Postcard Teas, New Caribbean Design and Tina Sparkle Cashmere.
Last minute shopping
If you've been roaming the high street looking for the perfect gifts for your nearest and dearest but still haven't found what you're looking for then fear not, there's bound to be plenty of stylish and unusual presents to tempt you at The Dock Christmas market. There's Scandinavian jewellery from Grasilver, homeware from Areaware, furniture from Simon Hasan, and there's also the chance to make your own cards, tags and gift boxes with PlayLab.

Feast of the senses
As well as giving you the chance to snap up some last minute gifts, The Dock Christmas market also features plenty of food to get you feeling well and truly Christmassy. There's cured meats from The Bath Pig, specialist cheeses from La Fromagerie, and stalls manned by Vallebona Sardinian Delicatessen and London Lager. On the first day of the Portobello Dock Christmas market there's a late night shopping evening, with live music from the Bonfire Band, as well as mulled wine and roasted chestnuts.
The Dock Christmas market takes place at Portobello Dock from Thursday 16th December - Sunday 19th December 2010. Opening hours are 12pm - 8pm Thursday - Saturday, and 11am - 5pm Sunday. Admission is free.
The late night shopping evening featuring live music from the Bonfire Band runs from 6pm - 8pm, Thursday 16th December 2010.
