I went to the Ebury last night with friends to celebrate a birthday. Although the food was delicious, we were surprised by the tiny quantities served for the main course and complained to the waitress, who replied that if she passed our comments onto the chef, he may come out into the restaurant and get extremely annoyed with us.

One member of our party had gnocchi, which was placed very sparsely on the plate, and appeared to be a starter portion rather than the main course ordered. When some in the party ordered dessert, the portions were actually larger than the main course. Perhaps the restaurant is struggling, but I would not recommend the Ebury to anyone.

Really nice Sunday afternoon and definitely needed after a hectic Saturday night, so the Bloody Mary's were welcome!
All in all, I'd definitely go again.
If I could say anything negative, it would be that a couple of the dishes werent available, but given we turned up a bit later and it was busy, I suppose that is fair enough.
Def worth a visit with friends for basically a 'chilled one'.

The Ebury has beautiful decor. The Brasserie has a much better atmosphere than the dining room, but where ever you decide to eat, the food is amazing. I definitely recommend the steamed mussels, and for dessert, the hot chocolate fondant, which is the best dessert I've had in ages.

The waitress at The Ebury couldn't have been more helpful! A very nice experience.

Finally, a fantastic place for quality dining and cocktails in Pimlico. This place is a real find - fantastically helpful staff and gorgeous modern European food courtesy of Head Chef, Michael Nadra. We really enjoyed the Grilled Quail with Salad Paysanne and the Chateaubriand for two. Succulent beef with melt in the mouth Foie Gras on top. Great value for money too. This must be one of London's best kept secrets.
