good thinking mans (and woman's) pub good music selection on the sound system, good line up of diverse music including international bands, and a pub where folk tend to acknowlede you and are friendly towards you. I am in the process of making this my local bar cum drinking hole cum music venue in the coming years!

excellent beers and ciders (wonderful guinness too!) and lovely bar staff, plus a fantastic music collection and all kinds of unexpected gigs several times a week. a rare gem of a pub - a calm and friendly, peaceful local in SW9 with real atmosphere and a great vibe on music nights. i can't big this place up enough!

brilliant night spent here halloween 2009. good bands, friendly bar staff & punters. partied till gone 5am. Thanks everyone from the ednburgh 2.
