Red carpet affair
Although tickets to see The Kid premiere London screening at the Odeon West End are likely to be very difficult to come by, film fans can still head to Leicester Square and see all the celebrities make their way along the red carpet and into cinema. As well as stars Rupert Friend, Ioan Guffudd and Natascha McElhone, other celebrity guests confirmed to appear at the premiere include Augustus Prew, Con O'Neill, James Fox and Jodie Whittaker.

The story
Based on a true story and the bestselling biography by Kevin Lewis, The Kid charts the harrowing but ultimately uplifting tale of a young boy who overcomes childhood abuse and neglect and a stint as a bare knuckle boxer to fulfill his dreams. After The Kid premiere, London cinema goers can see the film for themselves when it goes on general release on Friday 17th September.
