Is it a pub? Is it a club? Its probably the best of both worlds. My favourite pub in North London. Its good during the week for a few drinks with your pals and the great looking crowd on a weekend usually means I end up there on a Saturday night as well!

doorstaff are obnoxious

management insist on forcing you to queue up for ages when there's actually nobody inside. genius!

I would like to say that I use to run bars and clubs, and I know the management at the Old Queens Head and think that they do a fantastic job. I'm sure the only reason for making you wait or queue outside would have been to regulate the amount of people inside the venue, once they are at their legal capacity they can't let anymore people in and although it may have looked quiet from the outside there may have been a lot of people upstairs. As for the door staff, aren't they all a little obnoxious? I think they have to be when dealing with hoards drunken folk.

I say keep up the good work Old Queens Head. - Report

I saw James Lavelle from Unkle play at the Old Queens Head last week and it was amazing, the place was rammed, I can't believe I got in to see him play! Amazing

I came to the old queens head a few weeks ago and had a pleasent time. Thought the upstairs was way too crowded, but i enjoyed the music, which usually isn't my kind of thing! I really liked the downstairs and if i go back again i'll go during the week instead of on a friday. Definitely worth a look as a pub rather than as a club.

It's an OK place in general, however, as a wheelchair user - a disabled toilet is a must for a social session. Also, on my visit most of the staff struggled with English, which was a shame.

I went to the Old Queens Head for the first time over the weekend and it was fantastic, great Dim Sum food and the house wines were delightful. A lovely atmosphere and experience.

The Old Queens Head is my favourite London Pub, its great in the sumer to have a few drinks outside but i really love the upstairs room for a party or some live music. I met the guy from Cajun Dance Party after his acoustic set a few weeks back.
