I love the Phoenix Pub. The bar staff are cracking and the beer is always great.

Every 4 Friday of the month they have a club night called THROWBACK which is classic indie.

25 years of Indie floor fillers that we all used to dance to when we were nippers.

It's a great night, so much better than WELOVETHE90s, who seem to think that the 90s started in 1995 and ended in 1998!

Les Enfant Terribles every Friday night in the basement of The Phoenix is great fun. It is really refreshing to hear DJs having a bit of fun and taking risks rather than just playing track after track that sounds exactly the same.

The music was mainly broken beat like Bugz in the Attic and house like Fish Go Deep, but also mixed up with stuff like Prince to really get the girls dancing! I had some lush wine that was very well priced, it's free to get in and open 'til 2am! What more could you ask for from The Phoenix?

Rebel, Rebel at The Phoenix is amazing. I got to hear the kind of depressing/teenage-angsty music that I had been missing elsewhere. Also, the bar staff aat The Phoenix were friendly and the crowd were as well.

The Phoenix plays host to the Heavy Load parties which rock! What more could you want than to pay tribute to bands like ZZ Top, Eric Clapton and loads of other stuff. The Phoenix has an awesome quality sound system and is very loud. A good down to earth crowd with no tossers.
