The ViewLondon Review
They say all good things come in small packages and it couldn’t be more apt for Thirst bar has fast become the Kylie Minogue of the Soho set.The VenueTake a walk into the heart of Soho, bust a left onto Greek Street and you’ll find Thirst, a short walk from both Picaddilly and Tottenham Court Road tube stations. The narrow bar features a two level interior, with seating at ground level and a small but cosy dancefloor and alcove seating downstairs, perfect for small private parties.
The AtmosphereAfterwork drinkers swarm to Thirst like flies to quench their thirst and get riotous before heading downstairs into the club for a shameless boogie or two. A more stylish Soho crowd draws in after hours and on weekends to shimmy and schoomze until 3am.
The DrinkThey sure do swear by their name when it comes to the cocktail list at Thirst, which comes with enough choice to leave you drinking for days. Classic cocktails take on a secondary role next to house concoctions including Thirstini with Bombay Sapphire, Cassis D'Anjou and Teichenne apple schnapps, shaken with cranberry, apple juice and blackcurrant puree. Cocktails are priced averagely for the area at £6.50, or £4.50 at happy hour.
The Last WordA small but buzzing bar perfect for the classic ‘one drink’ that spins into a mad night or for those that like a tipple and dance around the clock.
