I've been a member of 37 degrees for over a year. Its the closest gym to my work and therefore its the most convenient. The gym facilities are generally good as are the instructors. Unfortunately the management of the gym lets it down. Problems take far to long to remedy. As other posters on this forum have noted, the issue over broken hairdryers took weeks to sort out with complaints not being taken seriously.

Most recently there have been COLD SHOWERS FOR OVER A WEEK. The problem has existed on and off for over a month. Only after 2 weeks of an intermittent problem were engineers consulted. Apparently the problem is serious enough to warrent new boilers - therefore there will be a long wait. When I asked for a reduction in membership fees to reflect the fact that I was not being provided with the full service I was paying for I was told that the showers hadn't actually been taken away from me, I could still use them and they hadn't deliberately been withdrawn. I think that this misses the point and is shortsighted to say the least.

Overall review - nice gym, shame about the customer service - only good as long as nothing goes wrong. If it does, don't expect it to be fixed quickly, or any reasonable compensation offered. - Report
