For anyone fascinated with all the excitement and adventure associated with big red engines, the tours at the London Fire Brigade Museum are a real treat. The museum has a selection of fire engines and equipment from different eras, so kids and adults alike can see how firefighting in the capital has developed over the years.

Activities for children
Alongside the tours at the London Fire Brigade Museum, there are a range of activities to keep children amused. Kids can try on firefighter uniforms and take part in drawing and colouring sessions. Although the tour will give lots of information on how the fire engines work and how they were used, children will not be able to climb on the engines as they need to be protected for future generations.

Tours of the London Fire Brigade Museum can be booked for 10.30am or 2pm, Monday - Friday. The museum is open by appointment only and is suitable for children aged five and over.
