HMS Victory at Trafalgar Day
HMS Victory will provide a grand setting for Trafalgar 200 events and activities featuring throughout Trafalgar Day on Friday 21st October. Traditional naval protocol at HMS Victory will include morning colours and the hoisting of Admiral Nelson’s signal, as a special mark of respect to the legendary Admiral. As part of Trafalgar Day free access to HMS Victory will be granted to over 800 members of the public, offering a unique opportunity to view the Trafalgar Sail.

Royal attendance at Trafalgar Day
HM the Queen will make a Royal appearance at Trafalgar Day, accompanied by HRH Duke of Edinburgh. The Queen will light the first of a series of beacons adjacent to HMS Victory in formal recognition of the occasion, followed by a formal Trafalgar Day dinner aboard HMS Victory. A Trafalgar Day service will also be held at St Paul’s Cathedral on Sunday 23rd October, attended by a collection of royal guests.
