Great views across the river and great selection of beers including selection from Sharps and Adnams. Very friendly staff will let you taste any of their products. Good selection of belgium lagers especially Estaminet - love it! I will definatly be back again!

One of the worst venues in Greenwich, they are unfair to their staff, they are losing money and so are over charging unfairly (the food is all frozen and the cellar has a sewage problem in order to cover thier huge losses). Not an ethical company and a second rate public house to boot.

Have often gone here for drinks in out the front in the summer sun. It's such a nice atmosphere by the river, even when it is filled with guests. Dined here for the first time a couple of months ago. Service was great and the food good. Steaks were a little overpriced but I had the lamb and loved it. A let down is the womens toilet, it's not the nicest. But overall, a lovely pub, especially when the sun is out.

We decided to have a meal here on a visit to London after a friend told us how good the Tavern was. Well what a expensive mistake we made. The food was overpriced, small portions of almost uncooked vegetables. I had the lamb shank. Never again as that put me off lamb for good. The tavern was almost dark inside so you could not see what you were eating, the meat arrived in a large bowl, the food swimming in a dark gravy. Under the shank was two green looking stalks, not sure what they were, but hard and uncooked. There were white sort of lumps bobbing around again who would ever recognize them as anything edible? The meat on the shank was like rubber, so I gave up as nether the knife or my teeth could penetrate.

I have only been in the Trafalgar when it has been quiet - I had swift friendly service and comfortable seating. It is ideal for an afterwork wind down drink. The prices reflect London and the venue - just take a seat in the alcove and enjoy river views.

I had the great fortune to be treated to a wine and canape tasting evening (on the house) in their function room on the 1st floor. I just wish I had been wearing a floor length ball gown and had the chance to dance to the gentle piano music while looking at the city lights reflect in the river. Spectacular!

The food at the function was very good - not sure about the mini yorkshire pud's with beef, but the rest of the buffet was lovely and the Eaton Mess (meringue fruit cream concoction) was heavenly. As a red wine drinker I was spoiled with some very well considered choices, but as the evening wore on I fear my palate became a little less discerning!

Not sure how much a reception at the Trafalgar would dent the pocket but I certainly will be adding to my list of possibilities.

Grossly overpriced both for drinks and food and consequently a very unpopular haunt these days. The Trafalgar Tavern used to be a friendly, relaxed atmosphere until it was taken over. Ladies loo's are disgusting. The Trafalgar Tavern really has gone downhill.
