Tribute to Quentin Crisp
The Southbank Centre event will include personal reflections on the man and his life from people who knew and worked with him. Biographers Paul Bailey and Andrew Barrow will talk about the writer's flair for flayboyant reinvention, while Crisp's great nephew Adrian Goycoolea will talk about his relationship with his family.

An Englishman in New York
A touch of dramatic flair will be added by Bette Bourne, who will be performing extracts from his one man show based on Crisp's writings. The tribute to Quentin Crisp will also have an exclusive screening of parts of the new ITV drama An Englishman in New York, which is due to be broadcast on TV over Christmas. The drama sees John Hurt reprise his role as Crisp follow the earlier success of The Naked Civil Servant.
