Say farewell to Christmas 2010 with a celebration of Twelfth Night at Geffrye Museum.

Farewell to Christmas
Join the visitors in waving goodbye to another festive period with some traditional activities for Twelfth Night in the Geffrye Museum garden. Burning of holly and ivy takes place, and there's also the chance to sing carols together. You can also enjoy traditional stories about the Epipany, and warm yourself up with mulled wine and Twelfth Night cake.

Outdoors event
Kicking off at 4pm just as dusk is beginning to fall, this is an atmospheric way to end your Christmas and look forward to the new year. Please note that the celebration for Twelfth Night at Geffrye Museum takes place outside, so please wear suitably warm clothing for the weather.

Farewell to Christmas takes place from 4pm - 5pm, Thursady 6th January 2010. Admission is free.
