Festivals aren't just for grownups these days - the Underage Festival London event is set to make even the most grumpy of teenagers smile, as Victoria Park welcomes another impressive line up to the stage for the fifth underage music festival.
13 - 17
A special festival designed just for thirteen to seventeen year olds, this is one summer music bash that is definitely for the young. No ageing rock stars, no balding men with pony tails pretending to still be cool and certainly no mums and dads dancing in the most embarassing way to any live music. The Underage Festival London gigs are purely for the kids.
Live music kicks
The 2011 festival line up showcases the very finest indie, rock and roll and the best from other genres, as the likes of Bombay Bicycle Club, Brother, Cocknbullkid, Janelle Monae, Yasmin, The Midnight Beasts, Ghost Eyes, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Crystal Fighters and many more take to the Victoria Park stages. The festival also features food and drink stalls and all the other things you would expect to see at a normal festival, barring the oldies.
Summer's day out
With a capacity of 5,000 and the atmosphere of an exclusive and intimate club, the Underage festival is set to become a mecca for music savvy youngsters who want to attend gigs and enjoy their own music without the hassle of parental approval or not being allowed to go on their own. Set up by the Underage Club who have a monthly residency at The Coronet Theatre, the music festival for kids is the perfect day out for any young people who love their music and want to share the scene with other teenagers.

So even if you put your cap on backwards and wear your trousers low enough so that people can see your pants, if you ain't underage, you ain't coming in.
