The Unicorn Theatre is one of the leading producers of professional theatre for children and young people in the UK. Its new home on the south bank of the Thames is the only purpose-built theatre for young people in London.
Opened in December 2005, at a cost of £14m, the Unicorn houses two theatres, an education studio, a rehearsal studio, a café and other welcoming areas for families and schools. The theatre company was founded in 1947 by Caryl Jenner, whose unique vision and inspiration made the building of this flagship theatre possible.
