If you've got a head for heights and want to do something different with your sweetheart on the most romantic day of the year or simply want to challenge yourself to something new, then the Valentines Day abseil London event might just be the thing for you. Called the Lovers of Life, the event runs across both days on Valentines weekend and aims to raise some much needed funds for CLIC Sargent.

Charity event
All of the money raised in sponsorship for the Valentines Day abseil London event is going towards CLIC Sargent, the charity that supports the families of children and young people who have cancer. The charity provides vital practical, emotional and clinical support for kids and families affected by childhood cancer, so you know that all of the money you raise for the event will be going towards a good cause.

Physical challenge
Taking place on the 130 foot high Riverside House in Millbank, the Valentines Day abseil London event should be a physical challenge and a test of nerves for all those taking part. Regardless of whether you complete the event as part of a pair or make it as a solo effort, the charity abseil will no doubt be a memorable way to spend Valentines Day.

The Valentines Day abseil London event takes place from 9.30am - 4.30pm, Saturday 13th February - Sunday 14th February 2010. Participants must be over the age of 16.
