Spend an unusual Valentines Day at Museum of London as the institution invites you to come over all romantic at its Georgian inspired Pleasure Garden Ball.

Valentine Late
With traditional Georgian dancing, mask making workshops and more special events taking place across the venue, Valentines Day at Museum of London is not just for loved up couples. Get into the spirit of the evening by coming as a stylish dandy or elegant 18th century lady and enjoy poetry readings and performances from some of London's finest gay poets courtesy of the Write Queer London Festival.

Make merry
Get your dancing shoes on and shake some 18th century moves to live music from girl band Lady Georgianna for Valentines Day at Museum of London. You can also enjoy excerpts from Steven Wood's forthcoming musical The Mask of Joy, which is due to go on show soon at the Vauxhall Pleasure Garden.

Late night event
As with all of the monthly Late sessions, the special event for Valentines Day at Museum of London gives you the chance to roam the open galleries at the museum at a time when the venue is usually locked up for the night. The bar will also be open, so you can sip on a Valentine's Day themed tipple or two.

Valentines Day at Museum of London takes place from 6.45pm - 9.45pm, Tuesday 14th February 2012. Tickets cost £6.00, with concessions available for £5.00. Advanced booking is required. For more information on how to buy tickets, click on the link below.
