Celebrate Valentines Day at Rich Mix with a jazz-tastic celebration of Ennio Morricone's early scores. The Bethnal Green cultural arts venue is hosting a series of special performances at the Morricone in Love event, with '60s erotic thrillers providing the backdrop to the live music on stage.

If you want to spend the most romantic night of the year soaking up a fusion of jazz, bossa and avant garde expressionism, then the Valentines Day at Rich Mix concert might be just what you're looking for. The event combines the talents of Fiona Staniland, Nick Ramm, Alex Keen, Jon Gingell and Gerry Hunt to celebrate the early work of Ennio Morricine, with scores from his early cult Italian film period from 1968 - 1972.

Music and cinema fusion
With soaring soprano pieces, psychedelic lounge music and irresistible jazz melodies thrown into the mix, the Morricone in Love special for Valentines Day at Rich Mix is bound to be a stimulating affair. Images from giallo crime fiction films and 1960s thrillers will create a sultry and soulful atmosphere this Valentines Day.

The Valentines Day at Rich Mix event takes place from 7.30pm, Tuesday 14th February 2012. Tickets cost £14.00 in advance and £16.00 on the door.
