This Valentines Day at The Little Shop of Horrors, The Last Tuesday Society is inviting you to enjoy a spot of Victorian erotica in their special Valentines Day lecture.

Valentines Day at The Little Shop of Horrors
Perfect entertainment for those seeking something a little unusual for Valentines Day, this Magic Lantern Show lecture is sure to delight and allure all those with a fetish for the 19th century. Described as the forerunner to cinema, the Magic Lantern is in essence a live picture show, using slides, that is accompanied by a theatrical showman to narrate the proceedings.

Cinematic alternative
Although the pictures don't actually move, the screening of the slides as part of the lecture for Valentines Day at The Little Shop of Horrors is a great alternative to anyone not enticed by this year's Valentines Day film releases. With plenty of erotic images on show, why not treat yourself and your date to a little romantic rendezvous in the dark of the Viktor Wynd shop, rather than in the bright lights of an overpriced cinema or restaurant.

Erotic photos
A far cry from the end of the pier mutoscope that allowed tourists and perverts alike to enjoy snippets of What the Butler Saw, the Erotic Magic Lantern Show is the French counterpart that enabled viewers to see an entire reel of lovely ladies. Bringing together a selection of antique French erotic slides, this Valentines Day at The Little Shop of Horrors you can twiddle your moustache or blush behind your fan as the naked beauties are displayed for all to see.

The Erotic Magic Lantern Show for Valentines Day at The Little Shop of Horrors takes place from 7pm and 9pm on Tuesday 14th February 2012. Tickets are £10.00 per person.
