Video Games Live Concert

Kicking off the beginning of the London Games Festival this year, the Video Games Live concert makes a return to the city. With a whole host of musical, visual and interactive gaming set up for all games fans, the festival opens with a brilliant concert of live music from the Royal Festival Hall.

The biggest scores from some of the most iconic games are brought to the concert hall with performances from one of the city's most famous orchestral groups. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will play live during the Video Games Live concert alongside exclusive footage and musical arrangements, lighting and electronic percussion in one big celebration of the video game in all its guises.

The live action and interactive parts of the show will make for great entertainment for gamers and non gamers alike, and the exclusive video footage from amazing new games will astound all comers. An explosive series of performances using some of the newest and most sophisticated technology combined with music from the orchestra promises to ensure that the Video Games Live concert is just as dynamic and exciting as last year.

This one of a kind show is preceeded by some extra special events at the Royal Festival Hall, making the evening out a great one for fans of video games young and old. Starting at 5:30pm the Video Games Live festival sees a the Xbox 360 Christmas titles on show, game demos, a cosplay contest, gaming competitions and the chance to meet and greet Video Games Live concert hosts and conductors Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall.

With favourites like Halo, Mario, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Warcraft, Myst and Sonic all on show and a classic retro arcade with seriously old school games such as Pong and Donkey Kong, the event is a must do for any gamer worth his salt.
