The Virgin Poker Festival London event comes to Loose Cannon at the end of September promising poker fans a serious weekend of high rolling stakes. Following on from great poker successes in Birmingham, Newcastle and Nottingham, the Virgin Poker Festival London now gives you the chance to win a share of the £30, 000 prize pot.

Taking place over two days, over 200 poker players will be invited to participate in the live tournament where card sharps and novices alike will compete in the main event. All players will start off on the same level, as there are no buy ins and everyone must qualify via online satellites and freerolls.

The main event at Virgin Poker Festival London is the €150 Texas Hold em No Limit Freezeout tournament that has 10,000 starting stacks, 40 minute levels and £5,000 added to the prize pool. 210 poker players will be fighting it out to stay within the big game and take home what could be a seriously impressive prize.

In another twist to the standard game, players will be able to knock out key opponents who have up to £1,000 of Virgin giveaway bounties attached to them, whilst STTs and Heads Up challenges with the Virgin Poker team will ensure that everyone has a fantastic weekend of great poker action.

Alongside the big money game will be some great entertainment as fun is most definitely the theme of the Virgin Poker Festival weekend. Whether you can match up to the big boys or you can't tell a tell from a poker face, there will be plenty of other action going down. Practise table are the place for those in need of a little help, while the Wii bowling championships will take your mind of your early exit from the game.

Three more games will be running throughout the Virgin Poker Festival with winnings including 50,000 Virgin Atlantic Flying Club miles for the winner of each. So even if you don't walk away from the tables with a big wodge of cash, you could be jetting off somewhere exotic for a holiday.
