Turning the traditional wine matching menu on its head, the Viva El Vino London event gives Rioja connoisseurs the chance to take part in a unique dining concept.

Special collaboration
The result of a special collaboration between the Shoreditch restaurant Pinchito Tapas and Rioja wine label Campo Viejo, the Viva El Vino London menu involves matching specific food and wines together so that the flavours perfectly complement each other. The difference with this matching menu, however, is that at Pinchito Tapas you carefully select your wine without choosing your food, which is chosen on your behalf.

The wine takes centre stage
Once you have chosen the wine, the Pinchito Tapas chefs will create a delicious meal that complements and enhances the tones and notes of the Campo Viejo Rioja. All of the dishes on the Viva El Vino London menu are a contemporary take on traditional tapas, with rich Mediterranean flavours.

Secret dinner
With the dishes remaining a secret until they arrive at the table, the Viva El Vino London menu is bound to appeal to foodies with a sense of adventure. Along with the range of Campo Viejo's red wines, diners can enjoy a degustation menu that caters to both meat eaters and vegetarians.

The Viva El Vino London wine matching menu is available for one month from Monday 14th March 2011. The menu costs £25.00 per person.
