Celebrating the reopening of the Australian themed bar after an extensive £800,000 refurbishment, the Walkabout Temple relaunch parties invite you to chase away the winter blues and embrace the sunny spirit of Down Under with not one, but three VIP events.

Flagship venue
With the main room now converted into Walkabout's flagship site and a new Beach Club Room boasting the hottest DJ sets and coolest cocktails this side of the Antipodes, the Walkabout Temple relaunch parties give you the chance to explore the newly transformed twin-scene venue and begin 2012 as you mean to go on. Everyone who signs up to the guest list for any of the three parties will be granted free entry as well as a complimentary drink on arrival.

Retro Fever
The VIP Walkabout Temple relaunch parties begin with the Retro Fever event, with Robbie Williams and Michael Jackson tribute acts performing live on stage. Perfect for revellers who love to add a dose of nostalgia to their night, the party also features tunes from DJ Mr T as well as fire eaters, stilt walkers and more live entertainment.

The Retro Fever launch party takes place from 6pm - 3am, Friday 27th January 2012.

Happy Thursdays
The next event taking place as part of the Walkabout Temple relaunch parties is the Happy Thursdays night, which caters to the mid-week party crowd with happy hour prices until 9pm and a live band that you can join on stage. A fresh take on karaoke, the event gives you the chance to realise your rock star fantasies and sing your heart out on stage in true X Factor style, without having to provide a tear jerking back story or endure withering comments from judges.

The Happy Thursdays launch night runs from 6pm - 3am, Thursday 2nd February 2012.

Beach Party
Last up in the series of Walkabout Temple relaunch parties is the Beach Party event, with highlights including live music from cover band Brainscape. Feel as though you've been transported to hotter, sunnier Australian climes with dancers, fire eaters and new cocktails in the Beach Club Room.

The Beach Party launch night takes place from 9pm - 3am, Saturday 4th February 2012.

More special events
As well as the VIP launch parties, Walkabout Temple is also hosting a number of special events in the weeks following its reopening. Celebrate Australia Day on 26th January with the help of live Aussie bands, dance to sets from international DJs on 30th January, and stay up late (or get up early) for the Super Bowl party at 4am on 5th February.
