Adapted from the novel by Michael Morpurgo, War Horse at National Theatre is a wonderful production that tells the moving story of a boy going to war to find his missing horse. Joey has been sold to the cavalry as a war horse, and so when his owner Albert is still not old enough to enlist he embarks on a treacherous journey to find him and bring him home.

A stunning play, the cast consists of actors moving magnificent life sized puppets that engage the audience at once and take them on through the story into No Man's Land. Emotional, gripping and a wonderful story that will grab the hearts of kids young and old, War Horse at National Theatre makes the perfect trip to the theatre for the autumn.
