Based on Michael Morpurgo’s novel, War Horse charts the history of the First World War through the eyes of a horse, Joey, and his young master, Albert. War Horse is a moving family production that uses some of the most sophisticated puppetry to create a show that has received considerable critical acclaim, and looks set to do so once again.

Stunning visuals
Directed by Marianna Elliott and Tom Morris, War Horse boasts stunning puppetry, puppetry design and fabrication by two of the leading lights in puppetry, Basil Jones and Adrian Kohler. Working for the Handspring Puppet Company, Jones and Kohler have received considerable critical acclaim for their work on War Horse, assisted by choreography from Toby Sedgwick.
