Support Breast Cancer Campaign this month with Wear it Pink Day. London gears up for the end of another successful October of fundraising with a fabulous day of events on Friday 28th October, as it asks people across the city to Wear it Pink all day.

Wear it Pink day is one of the biggest events in the Breast Cancer Campaign's calendar, and since it launched the event has raised over £6 million for its cause. People from all walks of life, including those who have suffered from the disease or know someone that has, are all sure to be out in force wearing their pink with pride and donating to the charity as they do so.

Pink for charity
The Breast Cancer Campaign is the only charity that specialises in funding independent breast cancer research throughout the UK and does an invaluable job in looking at how to improve research and treatment for patients. By gaining a better understanding of the disease the charity aims to find more achievable ways of curing or preventing breast cancer.

Pink celebrities
With such an important charity to raise funds for Wear it Pink Day 2011 is sure to be one of the busiest yet, with events taking place all over the city. Last year, Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps actress Sheridan Smith was just one of the celebrities and high profile figures supporting the cause, and this year even more high profile figures such as Stacey Solomon are lining up to show their support.
