Join global superstar Justin Bieber for the switching on of the Westfield Stratford City Christmas lights and celebrate the festive season a stone's throw from the new London 2012 Olympic Park.

The brand new shopping centre is making sure its first Christmas is a very memorable affair with plenty of glamour and jubilant fanfare to celebrate the switching on of the Westfield Stratford City Christmas lights. Fresh from turning on the Christmas lights at Westfield London in Shepherd's Bush, Justin Bieber will be flicking the switch at the Stratford City shopping centre and casting the outdoor Chestnut Plaza in a festive glow.

Fireworks display
The switching on ceremony of the Westfield Stratford City Christmas lights also includes a stunning fireworks display, which welcomes the start of the festive season with a bright and colourful show above the skies of the Olympic Park. Expect plenty of noise and colourful explosions at a free and exciting event.

Live music
Lucky Justin Bieber fans can also enjoy an acoustic set from the teenage superstar during the switching on ceremony of the Westfield Stratford City Christmas lights. A number of children representing the shopping centre's Christmas charity, Teenage Cancer Trust, will also be appearing on stage.

Christmas entertainment
In the weeks following the switching on ceremony, visitors can do their Christmas shopping under the glow of the festive lights display, and take the kids along to the Santa's grotto. There's also the chance to enjoy an ice skating session on one of the newest rinks to arrive in London for Christmas 2011.
