A Wild Kew photo exhibition takes place throughout the summer as part of Summer at Kew Gardens for 2010. Take a wander through the Nash Conservatory to see some of the magnificent wildlife on show before venturing out into the fresh air to catch a glimpse of the flora and fauna in person.

Wild Kew photo exhibition
Featuring animals, birds, flowers and plants, the Wild Kew photo exhibition features a stunning array of the various different animal and plantlife that call Kew Gardens their home. Taken by wildlife photographer Heather Angel, these images reflect the diversity of the area and the simplistic beauty of some of the creatures captured on camera. Also available as a book of glossy pictures, Wild Kew charts a year in the life at Kew, as it records the animals and plants at their various stages of colour and growth over the course of the four seasons.

Wildlife on show
Insects, frogs, reptiles, birds and mammals are all the stars of the show in this fascinating exhibition, as the wealth of plants and trees provide homes and food for a huge number of different animals. From golden pheasants to nocturnal newts, there are a plethora of amazing shots of the various species at centre stage in the Wild Kew photo exhibition.

From Palm House to pond
Covering seven wildlife inspired themes, the exhibition looks at the different areas around the gardens, along with different landscapes such as the Aquatic gardens, the lake and the Conservation Area. By seeing the various species at home in their wild habitat, visitors to the Wild Kew photo exhibition will get a glimpse of the thriving natural world that exists in the Royal Botanic Gardens.

The Wild Kew photo exhibition takes place from 9.30am - 6.30pm, Saturday 29th May - Sunday 5th September 2010 at Kew Gardens. Entrance to the exhibition is included in ticket entry to the gardens which is £13.50 for adults, £11/50 for concessions and free for children.
