Natural History Museum
The winning images are on display at the Natural History Museum until the beginning of March 2012 and are then toured around the UK and the rest of the world, allowing the photos to be seen in their native homes. With an exciting interactive installation, both kids and families can find out what the judges thought of the photos and hear from scientists and the photographers themselves about the subject matter of the photographs. Visitors to the Natural History Museum will also have the chance to vote for their own personal favourite image from the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and choose from a selection of prints to take home.
Fun day out
Full of some of the most amazing photos you will ever see, the Veolia Environment Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition at the Natural History Museum is a fantastic show that will be enjoyed by fans of photography as well as those fascinated by the natural world. The Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year prize went to Fergus Gill from Scotland, who managed to snap a photo of a fieldfare bird on a branch. This year's winners will be announced shortly - click back soon for more information.
