Wills Moody Jumble Sale

Given the current trend for bagging a bargain rather than splashing the cash on designer goods that you need an extra mortgage to be able to purchase, it's no surprise that Wills Moody Jumble Sale is pulling the punters like no tomorrow. Held monthly at the St Aloysius Social Club, this Sunday jumble sale is crammed full of bargains and one off purchases that will have real jumble hunters squealing with delight.

Having started back in 2005 when to most people jumble sale still sounded like it should be held in a church hall and would mean searching through items like granny knitted jumpers and nylon slacks to get to the good stuff, the Wills Moody Jumble Sale has become a staple of Sunday shopping to the people who know where to go.

Live music, a bar and most importantly, a late start are three of the key extras that make this the Jumble Sale of the future. Subtitled the Wills Moody Rock n Roll Jumble Sale, this is your perfect way to spend that hungover Sunday when you still want to have fun and forget about going back to work on Monday, but have no chance to weathering the tourist filled streets of Oxford Street looking in proper shops.

Amongst the bargains that you will find laid out on the jumble sale tables are records, clothing, comics, magazines, books, jewellery, and even the occassional voodoo doll. So if you have a yen for all things vintage, second hand or simply like rooting through the remnants of someone else's house, all while listening to cool music, and contemplating your next purchase from the bar, then the Wills Moody Jumble Sale is for you.

The Wills Moody Jumble Sale takes place every third Sunday of the month. Please note however that there will be no jumble sale in June 2008.
