A night of festivities is due to get everyone in the mood for Christmas 2011 at the Wimbledon Winter Wonderland. Head to south west London for an evening of celebration suitable for all the family. The Winter Wonderland is a series of events running in and around the Centre Court Shopping Centre and up to the Piazza.

Carnival atmosphere
With local bands adding to the carnival atmosphere at the 2011 Wimbledon Winter Wonderland, there's plenty of reasons for kids, families and fans of Christmas both young and old to get involved. Get in the party mood by the stage on the Piazza and grab a warming snack at the nearby food stands selling traditional street party treats at the family friendly event.

Fireworks display and Christmas lights
Celebrity guests from this year's pantomime will be celebrating the switching on the Christmas lights. A definite highlight of the Wimbledon Winter Wonderland for this year, the fireworks are also hotly anticipated to be a spectacular display. The firework jubilations take place on the rooftop of the Centre Court Shopping Centre.

Christmas parade
Kids will love watching the Christmas parade that starts at Wimbledon Hill Road and runs through the Broadway to finish at Kings Road. With music, colour and dance to order of the day at the Wimbledon Winter Wonderland parade, there's plenty to keep all ages amused throughout the event.

The best of Wimbledon
The Winter Wonderland also offers a range of children's events and attractions, such as fairground rides and music from the six piece Borough Brass Band. Panto stars Sam Attwater and Anna Williamson from The New Wimbledon Theatre's production of Dick Whittington will be the celebrity guests this year.
