A thrilling winter sports and music festival hits town this October as the best in snowboarding and freeskiing talent take to the slopes to prove they have what it takes. With four whole days of amazing winter sports action and brilliant live music acts to boot, the Freesports on 4 Freeze festival is not to be missed.

A first for London, this inaugural snow based world cup brings the best winter sports talent to Battersea Power Station where a series of hair raising slopes and jumps have been created to test the boarders and skiers. Whether you are a keen skier yourself, or just love the spectacle of the big jumps, then the winter sports and music festival is just the ticket for you.

Certain to be the highlight of the Freeze winter sports and music festival is the Big Air Event which will see several crazy boarders take on the biggest ever jump created in the UK. 30 metres high, and with a 17 metre drop at the end of the ramp, the LG London Big Air Event will no doubt have spectators open mouthed with amazement as they tackle the huge jump and its 100 metre landing strip.

Alongside the Big Air jump, the International Freestyle Ski event will see the best skiers in the world take on the competitors in an attempt to take home the £15,000 prize fund. Taking part in this elite skiing competition is the multiple Winter X Games gold medal winner, Tanner Hall, who will no doubt be out to prove that he is still the best there is.

Keeping something just for the Brits, the winter sports and music festival will also play host to the Battle of Britain where the cream of the crop from skiing and snowboarding talent will fight it out for the prestigious title. Also sure to attract plenty of winter sports fans is the LG Freeze Air Bar Tour, which features an area where the most creative skiers and boarders can show off their skills, before they plunge into the 14 x 8 metre air bag on the ground.

Still not quite enough fun for you? Once all the radical sport has taken place, Battersea Power Station will become a music festival venue for the evening with hot acts and cool new talent making for a great party atmosphere. Rock out with the boarders and dance the night away with the skiers as The Enemy, The Automatic, Iglu and Hartly, The Cuban Brothers play live in the 10,000 capacity arena.

Please note that Freeze Winter Sports and Music Festival tickets are no longer on sale online but can be purchased on the door.
