Join a panel of policy makers, scientists, journalists and community activists for World AIDS Day at Frontline Club. Asking questions and debating the future of HIV and AIDS worldwide, they will also be discussing whether we have already seen the worst this devaststing disease has to offer.

Huge progress has been made within the last decade to combat AIDS but there are still 33 million people currently living with HIV throughout the world, two thirds of which live in sub Saharan Africa. And although there has been a decline in HIV related deaths, the epidemic cannot be reversed, so Alex de Waal, Professor Robin Shattock, Michael Bartos and Thandi Haruperi will be debating the ways in which the world can move forward and make a real difference to the 12 million chldren who have been orphaned by the disease and those that are still affected. The event will be chaired by Sarah Bosely of The Guardian.
