Mark World AIDS Day at South Bank with dance, music, speeches and much more, organised by the Students Partnership Worlwide.

HIV AIDS awareness
Organised by Students Partnership Worlwide in partnership with the Student Stop AIDS Campaign and dance4life, the events for World AIDS Day at South Bank feature a graffiti wall where you can write your own message, as well as live music and speeches from campaigners. Centred around the double decker Big V Bus, the event aims to help empower young people with information about HIV and AIDS.

One of the highlights of the World AIDS Day at South Bank event is bound to be the appearance of the dance4life group, who have just finished their UK tour. The group performe live, and also lead interactive workshops where you can learn a dance routine.

Inclusive event
University students, schoolchildren and members of the public are all welcome at the World AIDS Day at South Bank event, where people can record their messages about HIV and AIDS on video cameras and get involved with all of the activities throughout the day. Petitions will also be available to sign to support the call for cheaper and more widely available HIV medication throughout the world.

The World AIDS Day at South Bank event runs from 11am - 2pm, Tuesday 1st December 2009. The double decker Big V Bus can be found by the Royal Festival Hall, close to the Canteen restaurant. The event is free to attend.
