Classical music and contemporary compositions are being performed by the Diversity Choir and The Brandenburg Sinfonia at the World AIDS Day concert.

The Diversity Choir are taking centre stage at St Martin in the Fields this December, with a special performance of classical pieces for the World AIDS Day concert ably assisted by the Brandenburg Sinfonia. Concert goers can experience an evening of traditional classical music and more modern compositions.

World AIDS Day Concert pieces
Classical music fans are in for a treat with this year's concert. For 2009 you can enjoy performances of Faure's Requiem, Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite and Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols. This year promises to be full of fantastic performances so visitors will be in for a treat.

World AIDS Day 2009
World AIDS Day falls on 1st December 2009, an international day of recognition promoting AIDS awareness, prevention and care. There will be related events throughout London in the days surrounding World AIDS Day, like the World AIDS Day concert which provides a unique opportunity to mark the occasion and enjoy live performances from the Diversity Choir and Brandenburg Sinfonia, conducted by Andrea Brown and Robert Porter.

The Diversity Choir
This one of a kind choir features lesbians and gay men with a love for classical music. Of course, people of all sexual preferences are welcome at their performances.
