With football fever once again sweeping the nation during the World Cup events, London footie fans can take part in all the action at a series of live screenings, and special events that celebrate the beautiful game.

World Cup events
London football fans are no doubt joining the rest of England in anxiously assessing Rooney's recovery from his groin injury and placing bets at the bookies on whether Spain or Brazil will ultimately lift the World Cup trophy for 2010, but if you didn't manage to get your hands on a pair of tickets to see the matches live in South Africa then there's still plenty to keep you happy during the World Cup events.

London screenings
Whether you're supporting England, South Africa, Spain, the Ivory Coast, USA or Australia, don't miss out all the red cards, send offs, goals and penalty shoot outs during the World Cup events. London pubs and bars are screening many matches live over the tournament so you can cheer on your team while enjoying a pint or two over the summer.
