The worlds largest beatbox choir performs at the Southbank Centre in May as part of the Chorus Festival of singing. Conducted and trained by artist in residence and beatboxing expert Shlomo, the worlds largest beatbox choir are sure to hit the right notes with music fans.

Doubling up with the long awaited return of the Vocal Orchestra, also lead by Shlomo, the worlds largest beatboxing choir will have only just come together in time for the nights performance. In fact most of them won't have met each other until 11am that morning.

The Chorus Festival at Southbank Centre is a week long festival of the human voice with events dedicated to singing in all its forms. With jazz, karaoke, bebop and classical choral styles all featuring on their schedule, one of the highlights of the closing weekend will be a performance from the worlds largest beatbox choir who turned up to rehearse their numbers at the beatboxing workshop.

Sound like your kind of thing? There's still time to join in. The beatboxing workshop takes place at 11am on Saturday 17th May, where Shlomo will teach you how to manipulate your vocal chords into making all kinds of peculiar and beatbox style noises. Once you and the rest of the choir have mastered the sounds, the next step is to perform on the stage of the Queen Elizabeth Hall in front of an anticipatory audience.

For those that would rather sit back and watch, the Vocal Orchestra and the worlds largest beaxtbox choir will share the stage for a fantastic performance of vocal talent. The finale of the show will even involve the audience, so either way you look at it there's no getting out of singing.
