Head to the BFI IMAX for the X Men All Night screening on Saturday 12th July 2008. This is your chance to enjoy all three of the X Men super hero films back to back in one long night of crime fighting and mutant busting action.

Taking from the early days of Wolverine's discovery of Xavier's special mutant school to the thriiling conclusion of the series with an enormous battle between the mutants, the X Men All Nighter is the perfect opportunity to indulge in some serious comic book hero fun.

Starring the likes of Patrick Stewart at Xavier, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and Ian McKellan as Magneto, the three of the biggest and best mutants around, the X Men films are based on the comic book stories that have obsessed teenagers and grownups for decades. Based around two mutant factions of human, one for the good of all, and the other, surprisingly, only for the good of the mutants, the films are full of amazing CGI effects, fantastic super hero fighting action and a great deal of humour besides.

Showing right at the end of the X Men All Nighter session is the comical Mystery Men, which is a gentle pastiche on the genre of action hero cinema. The Shoveler, The Blue Raja and Mr Furious are three generally incapable super heroes whom no one in their city seems to care about, until Captain Amazing is captured by his arch nemesis.

The X Men All Nighter shows all three films, X Men, X2 and X Men: The Last Stand back to back from 11.30pm onwards. Free tea and coffee will be available for everyone during the intermissions which will last approximately 30 minutes between each film.
