Yes Snow Show

Head to the BFI Southbank for the Yes Snow Show, a thought provoking exhibition of moving image works by experimental film maker Michael Snow. The gallery installations use a variey of source material to explore natural phenomena, space and narrative.

Yes Snow Show
Michael Snow's Yes Snow Show features a variety of moving image works, including Solar Breath, which explores the spellbinding effects wind has on everyday objects. Another work, Sshtoorrty, plays with the concept of narrative.

Film Season
To accompany the Yes Snow Show in their gallery space, BFI Southbank has organised a programme of screenings of Michael Snow's films. From Friday 5th December 2008 - Saturday 24th January 2009, visitors can pay £5.00 to attend a film from Snow's impressive catalogue, which ranges from 1966 to 2007.

Conversation
Fans are in for a special treat on Saturday 6th December, when they can see Michael Snow in conversation with Elisabetta Fabrizi, BFI Head of Exhibitions, and Chris Meigh-Andrews, artist and academic. To celebrate the opening of the Yes Snow Show, Michael Snow will be talking about his artistic film making. Tickets for this event cost £5.00.

The Yes Snow Show runs from Friday 5th December 2008 - Sunday 1st February 2009 at BFI Southbank. The gallery is open 11am - 8pm Tuesday - Sunday, entrance is free. For more information and to book your film tickets, follow the link below.
