Zoo Lates London events take place once more in 2013, giving you the chance to explore the animal kingdom after dark. With late night openings taking place every Friday in June and July, this is the most exciting way of experiencing the city's most friendly inhabitants. Zoo Lates London Zoo is famous for its colourful residents and for those who have never been, what better way is there to discover the thrills and excitements of over 760 different species than with a glass of something fizzy in your hand? Crammed with exciting events, spectacles and the chance to explore the different areas around the zoo, the late night openings are the perfect summer evening out. Live entertainment A monkey may not be the first animal to come to mind when you are seeking Friday night entertainment this summer, but the Zoo Lates feature a selection of different live animal demonstrations so you can enjoy all the classic entertainment of the zoo, but after hours. And for those that feel the need for a Friday night boogie, there are plenty of animal themed dancing opportunities about, making this event a perfect solution for those wanting to hear the thumping base beat and hit the dance floor. Late night bars If you can't possibly head out to a party without the thought of getting a stiff drink inside you within minutes of stepping through the door, fear not - the Zoo Lates at London Zoo have bars serving up summery cocktails, and there is also street food festival where you can soak up the booze by grabbing something delicious to eat. All this means you won't have to worry about where to stop for dinner on the way, as the animals have it covered. Live entertainment As well as all the animal demonstrations and dancing, there's also acoustic music to enjoy. In addition, there's improvised comedy in the aquarium, Twisted Cabaret performances and all manner of live entertainment to keep you going throughout the evening. The Zoo Lates London events take place from 6pm - 10pm every Friday in June and July 2013 at ZSL London Zoo. Early bird tickets are now available for £10.00.
