Cinema technology at the Wimbledon Tennis MuseumAn innovative cinema at the museum features a unique 200 degree screen, allowing viewers to become immersed in a film about the science of tennis. Highlights include footage from the 2005 match between Maria Sharapova and Nuria Llagostera which can be frozen and rotated around the field of action at any time.
A history of fashionWith Ralph Lauren at the drawing board for the official uniforms of Wimbledon, fashion design continues to be a major aspect of the championships. Visitors to the Wimbledon Tennis Museum can explore the fashion history of Wimbledon, going as far back as the 1880s.
Guided toursThe Wimbledon Summer Tours season is open too, where visitors can venture throughout the grounds. Tours are available throughout the year apart from the duration of the championships.
The museum is open daily from 10.30am – 5pm throughout the year with the exception of middle Sunday of The Championships, the Monday immediately after The Championships, 24th - 26th December and 1st January, when the museum is closed.Entry to the Wimbledon tennis museum costs £8.50 for adults, £7.50 with concession and £4.75 for children.
